All services are provided through High Country Mediation LLC on an hourly basis. Rates depend on case type, complexity, and other factors. An hourly rate quote is available upon request. The fee for mediation will include the time spent preparing, including review of the materials provided by the parties and any necessary additional research. An invoice reflecting all services performed will be provided.
A service / mediation agreement must be signed by all parties prior to commencement of the mediation session. Fees will be divided between or among the parties as agreed by the parties and High Country Mediation LLC. If the parties are unable to agree, each party shall be responsible for payment of a proportionate share based on the total number of parties.
A two hour nonrefundable advance payment is required to secure a date and time for mediation. The advance payment will be retained by High Country Mediation LLC in all events, including, without limitation, cancellation without rescheduling, and will be credited against the total fee.
Payment based on the estimated length of the mediation session is due and payable at the commencement of the mediation session. If the estimated time of the session is exceeded, payment of the additional amount will be due at the conclusion of the mediation session. If the mediation sessions ends prior to the estimated time, High Country Mediation LLC will refund the unused portion of the fee.
In order to ensure proper preparation, each of the parties to a mediation must submit a confidential, written settlement statement to the mediator in advance of the mediation session. The mediator will provide specific instructions on the required content of the settlement statement as well as the timing of its delivery.

A written fee agreement or court order setting payment terms is required for arbitration, special master, and decision maker services.
